Metroplex standard is to always run a plywood bottom shelf in all sink base cabinets. If its an all plywood interior upgrade or a standard particle board interior, they both get a plywood bottom shelf.. The plumbing may be good for years but one day it may leak and if it does you'll be so glad we used the plywood. |

All drawers are heavily hot glued underneath the bottom parameters for added integrity. Typically fitted with white epoxy side mount drawer guides.
Many drawer guide upgrades available too. (1) Side mount all ball bearing full extension. (2) The undermount soft close. |
Pine 3/4" thick lumber support nailers for mounting uppers to wall. We then overlay each nailer with thin strips of plywood to cover unsightly knots installing screw heads

Plywood at the front end of all drawer boxes even when using fiberboard drawer sides as illustrated above. A very popular choice at minimal upgrade is the all wood drawer box. The dove tail corners upgrade is also available

Back side view of the dado shelf construction. Note the shelf fits into the receiver groove (dado) at ends/sides with pine lumber support nailer support below most, for a very strong construction integrity.

Back side view of our face frame construction. All 2" stiles recieve a minimum of 2 pocket holes with two 1-1/2" long screws. The wider stiles areas recieve more. This creats a very strong face frame joint.
